In the novel there is gangrape, blackmail, abuse, beating, more rape, nonconsensual acts, sex with animal, treatments non-human, starvation, and suicide and at the end they end up together because the Top ended up posting the photo and the Bottom felt like the top was the only one who was there for him (from what I understood). The bottom ends up being hypersexual as the result of the amount of rape. The bottom in the past along with his friends raped the top and ended up posting it online leaving the Tops mother to have an illness. So basically the Top is getting revenge on the bottom for what he did to him in the past. That's all I remember from reading that and I'm not about to reread it again so if you have any questions ask someone else thank you.
