ok so I think the the brown haired 'female lead' is actually the MC's past best friend that died, and she is super into bl still and since Cecile looks like a dude rn, her and her love interest seem like a BL moment TM. And that guy that she is with??? also someone into BL. idk if anything i said here is true but this is my guess.

i actually really like this book as the ML isnt super pushy and forces anything on her, and she isnt swayed by emotions ebery other chapter. It is just enough cute little cliche's now and again but an honest actual slow and real love story. compared to like, evil ML who always gets what he wants and basically forced his crush/FL to fall for him
