idk about ad-free sites, but you can try using brave browser to block ads
if you don't necessarily prefer sites, I know an app that directs you to the movie/series file which you can choose whether to download or watch online (you'll need to watch an add everytime you open a file, but there are no pop-ups)

just found out today that the one I'm using(for years now)got discontinuedಥ_ಥ, but I found a copy which works just the same(I tried it to dl battle at the dumpster). it's best for movies esp. western ones, tho I find it rather inconvenient to watch series with short episodes like anime here(and nosubs most of the time, so I stick with anmph for anime). it comes with a media player where you can search for and download subtitles directly from web, too.
