i'm actually more interested in the second story. it's so bittersweet with all these memories but i hope there's some healing for the characters. it just hurts so bad T___T

Why? Eventually the engagement will break because of rumours and social pressure and he will take that woman for his own. Valerie would be oficially engaged to the crown prince and she can't cansel an engagement to the royal family onesidedly. She would be trapped.
