I didn't say they had to get along, but his reason for hating him isn't valid. I think you didn't read the part about how it's a grafted family. WY only had his mom. His mom remarried. So when she started showering his step bro w/ praises and showed him attn and affection it affected him a lot. He used to be his mom's center of attn. Imagine someone he doesn't know coming in to steal that spotlight. WJ also surpassed WY in doing so, so that his own achievements (I'm assuming scholastic) had been overshadowed. Things had been taken away from him. And also, WJ is a stranger to him. Even w/in a family such imbalance can exist, one child being favored over another, or better rapport with one parent while the other is neglected. Maybe you've had a good life and can't understand ppl in these kinds of situation. Anyways, I don't know why I need to justify this with you. If you can't see it you can't see it.
