Yes this is what I got too. It's more about getting the shance to see them since he couldn't touch them, because of his trauma. He feels that everything he touches dies but with our fl he said that she would look good even if she was tarnished a little implying that she is different and he can touch her. Besides even if he bought nude paintings it was the first time he was aroused and that was with our fl. It was more of choosing who he likes then actually liking them all(though they all had one common feature: flawless in every aspect, this probably put him at ease that nothing bad was going on and yet he thinks it's fine if it is our fl.)
