I used a translator to understand the chapters, so it might not be accurate, but based on my understanding, Chihiro was SA by a molester in a train and his ex was a Sh*tty person and one of his friends tried to force himself on Chihiro (twice if I'm not wrong) ╥﹏╥ and that explain his behavior and why he's afraid....
