The art seems rushed because the artist might be trying to catch up with the demand/schedule; I noticed this is an original manhwa story & the ENG translation is already caught up with the KR raws. I do agree the art has taken a turn because it doesn’t have Reck’s signature style anymore :( I heard from other commentators that the author is collaborating with another artist so replication is difficult. Either way, I love this story & the art is still good!! It seems they’re just trying to pump out chapters on schedule for the readers so it’s more rushed too.

IMO, the MC just doesn’t like Minwoo in a romantic way and that’s okay. I think realistically, you can’t force someone to feel a certain way, esp when it’s been abundantly clear he sees Minwoo more as a brother. The problem is that Minwoo expected him to feel the same. I do think the ML should accept that Minwoo is still a huge part of the MC’s life, but his feelings for him differ & that’s the important part.

I think maybe people rooting for Minwoo likes the childhood friends trope & he’s def a much more approachable character to readers … but it’s quite obvious the MC won’t end up with him.

This is so stunning oh my gosh. The art, the plot, the characters. It kind of reminds me of Hounds of Sisyphus in a way with the mystery/intrigue and colors? But seriously the coloring here is absolutely GORGEOUS, like everything just pops out. I’M IN SO MUCH AWE THIS IS SUCH RARE BL FIND!!! So sad we have fo wait for it to marinate

The seme is desperately holding onto him but in the most horrible way and just digging his grave deeper and Yeonjo reminiscing is so… I don’t know how they can ever get past this now but holy toxic yaoi indeed

To those complaining about the pacing: I think teenagers just have so many hormones going around that Jiho’s behavior isn’t out of the ordinary. He prbly thought Eunjeong’s brother had a similar scent to Yijun, and when he was rejected he realized his feelings. Then when you put two teenage boys with sexual tension in one room alone…. yeah they’ll do stuff. I love how the author portrays the awkwardness too bc BLs don’t do that ANYWAY THEY’RE SUPER CUTE I LOVE THEM AND I NEED MORE!!!!

I think seme is a gentle giant (very protective!!) but I’m guessing he’s def not fully human because his strength seems to be overly enhanced - if that makes sense? something fishy is going on in that town for sure tho. Nothing is really a “utopia” in an apocalypse </3

It’s FAR from romantic when you analyze this story from a deeper perspective. I see a lot of people trying to deny the fact that Won is “continuing the cycle” of abuse he has faced with his pedophilic tutor …. when that’s one of the main points of the manhwa. The age gap is meant to cause discomfort (especially since he met Jinha when he was a preteen), because THAT’S THE POINT.

From taking up the same manipulative personality he learned from his tutor, to teaching Jinha private lessons, to repeating the same “he just needs to focus” phrase he once loathed, from saying he’ll wait until Jinha gets older …… this is grooming—the same cycle of abuse.

There’s just so many layers. The jokes are funny but really, it’s just so tragic …….

Overall, I love how twisted it is—how it highlights all these dark symptoms of grief and abuse.
