This series surpassedm me with how solid & good it is. The world seems a lil generic at first but is developed well & more interesting for it. The relationship & character building is emphasized, but uniquely stays platonic (so far). But really the best part is the cool butch Empress and the canon practice of queerplatonic poly relationships in this world.
