I always knew Yahwi was endgame! I was hoping maybe Cain would win his affection, but I was really sour about Cain always living in his past life. Cain needs to live for himself, not for someone else. That’s a really toxic dynamic waiting to happen. Jooin would eventually realize that Cain always saw him as his past owner. Yahwi got the redemption arc he needed and grew as a person while Cain was stuck in his past and wasn’t ready to see Jooin as anything but his destiny. I don’t think Jooin wanted that thrusted upon him. Cain even severely distanced himself from his family in childhood because he lived only in his past life . . . that just makes me think that Cain really needs to finally live for himself.

I personally view Cain “kissing” him to give him medicine as the same as someone doing CPR and having to breathe into the mouth to get air into the lungs. He needs the medicine and is very sick. I wouldn’t blink an eye at a cousin, friend, or parent of mine doing that to get medicine in me if I was unresponsive. It wasn’t a suppository . . . now that would definitely be harassment!

I actually am looking forward to seeing his and the purple haired vampire’s story if they make one. Technically Seolwoo has killed the least people of everyone else in this story that’s still alive and lost the most. Everyone else probably has hundreds of deaths on their hands, and they are seen as forgiven because they are not humans. I wanna give him a chance, and maybe it will turn out great as well! :) I’m hopeful! :) :)
It feels like this story should have been 30+ chapters with more in-depth storytelling and character development. The story had so much to build on with the monster types and powers. They could have described so much more. It’s honestly sad that they cut it down and smashed it all into 5 chapters when it could have been so much more. It’s a cute little story, but don’t go in expecting a masterpiece. Nice short read even if a little disappointing.
