It'd seem more worth my time if there was even a shred of character development but there isn't
it seems like everyone is like fucked up in their own way. the art is outstanding and the plot has depth but the constant smut and the fact that muyeong and lord baeksa seem like potential endgame is irritating. seems to me that muyeong definitely lusts for the stepdads body like baeksa said, but he also has romantic feelings. his romantic feelings only seem to exist for the original stepfather tho- he restrains himself around stepfather and it seems like he never did anything sexual to him even if he thought about it which is good? he saved money to try to free him. although when it comes to lord baeksa he did not hesitate to do anything to him despite the fact that its still his stepfather body. the soul itself seems important to muyeong. nonetheless baeksa is right muyeong is a beast. dear baeksa stab him again don't ask him to love u his incestuous affections are too overwhelming he couldn't possibly grow fond of you. if stepdad's soul is actually still around i do not think he would be happy at all. like even if he found out that muyeong wasn't actually planning to have sex with him and muyeong was just trying to set him free,, muyeong still likes him sexually and literally had sex with baeksa who is in HIS BODY. if stepdad ends up like coming back or something and liking muyeong i will be pissed as hell because then what was the point of everything. stepdad,, that is ur CHILD. ur child is a fiend. if muyeong ends up also falling in love with baeksa which i suspect he is just a teensy teensy bit i will also be mad. if baeksa somehow ends up loving muyeong and going down that stupid cliche i will be even more mad. this is a fucked up story with depth and well written fucked up characters but the constant sex and hints of potential romance is starting to destroy it. lets keep it fucked up. but also can we give everyone what they deserve. only one who deserves happiness is stepdad and even tho i love baeksa,, baeksa definitely deserves like death or misery or something. also muyeong. blow muyeong up.

yes i am because it is getting in the way of the potentially solid plot. smut is fine but sometimes when its excessive it can mess with the story if u know what i mean
I completely see what you mean, I can even agree with you -- I just don't think it's fair to say that about TF at all. To start, we're 28 chapters in, the base plot AND conflict have already been shown. All that and TF still has FEWER sex scenes than Taming The Tiger did atp and they were just two human dudes in Joseon era! XD This is a smut manhwa ABOUT a whorish being that has heats, so it's only natural these scenes will come around more often than the regular smut.
I see what you mean, even TF can be ruined by excessiveness, but it's just not happening here. Can't mess the plot when it basically IS the plot at the moment.

ur right tho, the smut isn't that excessive compared to other stories and im definitely like being a little overdramatic abt it. i think im just mad cause the smut just makes it feel like a porno instead of an actual story with depth which it has the potential to be and sort of is already. if there was less smut and the rape scenes weren't illustrated i probably would've actually enjoyed the story much more.
nonetheless i hope this story doesn't go down some cliche and actually ends and develops uniquely. PLEASE dear author do not throw away what u have built pls go the right direction
Relax, it just feels this way bc your reading it weekly & chapter by chapter. So you read some lore + they start fucking, then you wait 7 days and it's a sex chapter since chapters arent that long, then more 7 days and its Baeksa has a rape flashback, so more sexual scenes.
But if it were complete, you would probably breeze through these chapters easily and notice it differently :)
