if anyone’s wondering how the story will continue to progress, it’ll most likely resemble something like this, but also take heed that i’m definitely missing some key details and major plot points here so take that as you will:
first pivotal arc:
on repeat psychological/physical abuse inflicted onto haewon, like he never really escapes the cycle. some twink comes into the story and he basically serves as an inferiority plot device for haewon. he’s this improved version of haewon, he has the wealth, education, a well-groomed appearance, and so on. haewon 2.0 doesn’t have much of a purpose aside from inducing haewon’s already heavy urge of killing himself. however, he does begin to come in handy when haewon runs away. i kind of forgot what the huge catalyst that ended up pushing haewon to run away was, but just know that he runs away > dyes his hair to black > gets a new job. i don’t exactly remember how haeyoung reacts to haewon’s disappearance but you can assume it was far from anything that could even begin to hold semblance to sanity, same logic applies to the other two. okay so this part in the story gets a little groggy for me, and i don’t wanna spread around anything that could be considered misleading so i’ll just continue listing down what i know to be true
1. haewon has a run-in with haewon 2.0 ,and there he helps him out a bit
2. the first chapter of the non zero sum manhwa is set after haeyoung forcibly takes haewon back home
3. haewon attempts to kill himself
4. the freakazoid with the choking fetish goes abroad
second pivotal arc:
after haewon is presumed to be dead for the first time the whole story shifts into this like development arc w haeyoung. basically throughout that entire arc, haeyoung is riddled with paranoia > gets super possessive (if not already), etc he also begins to engage in self-harm which i surmise was to show haewon just how apologetic he truly was ?? it’s just a lot of back and fourth until the end of the story. haewon ultimately ends up forgiving haeyoung bc he’s seemingly “endured enough”, which is lol
