I’m sure this is a great story but it just feels like it’s missing something, I’m like 12 chapters in and I’m just struggling to stay interested. Like I like the art and the characters seem interesting so far but I feel like that little spark just isn’t quite there? Is anyone else having that problem?
So like do you think he squirted or urinated
LOL he squirted and it's kind of like cum and pee mixed together so you're half right and half wrong and it's rarely happened on any other mangas I only see this happened in another manga and I was surprised cause it's always the bottom but this makes me more happier and it's kind of sexy how they lose control heheheeh(≧∀≦)
I don’t know their genders at this point like one moment they are dude then they are girls. Tho the emperor looks like a woman and it look like they have boobs when they’re in night gear. I love this but I’m so confused
Bro fr i just started reading this and it made me have a second read on each chapter cause of the DAMN PRONOUNS, emperor to empress, he to her, she to he like reading this made me become a fucking detective to put puzzle pieces together which would eventually be unsolved LIKE BRO PICK A PRONOUN PLEASE I CANT BE LOOKING LIKE A DUMBASS READING THIS
Pronouns is fair, but honestly as for titles, I think Emperor is perfectly fine to use for her even if she is a woman. It's more to do with the symbol of power rather than her sex or gender. There is a difference between "woman Emperor" and "Empress" - I don't personally have any special feelings towards the topic, except my opinion is that it should be fine for a woman to use the title Emperor.
Idk, maybe I don't find the pronouns as bothersome bc my native tongue doesn't gender them I've heard the same goes for korean. They're probably using mtl to do this and not bothering to fix some issues that may come, that a human can determine from context.
I remind myself when reading, that I'm pretty sure it's like this: the Emperor is a woman, most concubines are men but there are some who are women (eg. the newest one with wine-red-hair, I'm pretty sure), the shadows are men, Sanya's/Kanghee's servants are women, and her og parent is a man.
Honestly fair, they sure don't make it easy to determine ( ̄∇ ̄") kinda love that for her though.
Honestly I'm SO HAPPY she's a woman, we have so so so so so many childcare stories where there is only one parent and it's typically a father. I want more stories where the parent is a woman (unfortunately the super common (secret or not) biological connection trope is a bit harder to do for these, so that could play into why it's not a popular trope)*. Or maybe so many people have good relationships with their mums/mums are seen as having a natural connection to their kids, so they rather want stories where there is a doting dad instead. I just wish more of these stories had mums as the main parent, or just have both parents be doting (adoptive or not).
There is that one webtoon I read where the protagonist was super close to her mum. Ahhhh I can't remember the name for the life of me but she had blonde hair and green eyes, while the male lead had black hair. And she had this hourglass with which she could go back in time buttttt I can't remember the nameee (/TДT)/
Hurt and little comfort. Honestly not sure on how to feel on this one
