Goshhh i’ve avoided for so long since i was unsure what to expect when reading this, but what the hell was up with me. THIS IS AMAZING!
The writing is incredible, tho the translation of some chapter were confusing….but the way they showcased the mother and son relationship was so touching, i loved it. The way they wrote the thoughts of him when he was acting, the art style, etc…gosh it’s just GOOD
My fav part is when he acted in the confession of the priest where they showed the last death, greed. The way they showed the cross of the hospital to show god was a huge influence to the whole was so WOW. I love it so much cause the whole movie circulated around faith and sin, and the fact that even at the hospital where religious artifacts, aren’t hang up that they can still show the cross of jesus made me speechless…it was mind blowing they can think of making a reference like that at the last part…

No I think he remembers it quite clearly. That’s why he’s trying to prove that he is by showing his power right now. What power? Nothing more the power of him being the emperor and everyone would have to listen to his orders. But at the same time, he’s clearly never made any accomplishments in the time he’s been emperor, hence why he’s so insecure.
I know she was pitiful because of her inferiority complex but do remember that she used the Duke for her own selfish need of wanting to be in higher standing. The duke was forced to be with her because she wanted the title of the duchess, not even thinking if the duke will he happy. Even if she is insecure she is still SELFISH. Wanting to have the best thing’s aren’t bad but it’s bad when you drag others because of your selfish wants. She stole others hard work like the carriage design and passed it as if she owned it. She’s still a thief who’d rather see someone else fall down just so people will she’s higher.
Sure it’s sad she started feeling inferior because she was always compared but that’s not an excuse to be a bitch and a thief.
Yes she's fkng irritating. Basically, she treated ml like a designer bag she could brag about. She's entitled and the kind of loud, offensive, undignified noveau riche you often see stereotyped. Artist and editor is amazing for creating her character design so well that I intensely dislike her
