Yeah, I'm not really angry but I'm reeeeally frustrated.
I mean, good job on describing the whole procedure and actually going into detail, cause the act itself is being done right, but the whole context is wrong.
Letting hygiene aside, you need to be steady and careful when piercing someone, cause the slightest movement gone wrong can result in the piercing hole crooking on the inside, and if it's crooked the jewel won't go in easily, causing tearing and infections, even rejection at times. Also for piercing involving important parts of the body (es. Tongue, genitalia, nipples ecc) is of the utmost importance to be super clean and super careful cause those piercing can actively impair the use of the part itself. A tongue piercing done wrong can cause from suffocation from the tongue swelling too much to movement reduction, cause a crooked tongue piercing can pull too much in the wrong way so you can't even talk or eat cause you literally have pinned your tongue in a weird way and it won't get better unless you pull it out. Also you can pierce blood vessels (even tho that's quite difficult for a tongue piercing but it's likely for Venom piercings)
I'm not even gonna mention the consequences for a genitalia piercing gone wrong, lmao
What upsets me is that the author makes it look so easy that everyone can do it, and while fucking too.
I get it's fiction but-- it's kinda overboard.

Like- okay, i get they all have a rough past with gangs, fights and everything, but hey I'm missing school days and Daniel, Jay, Zack and all the others, girls and boys.
