it ruins it for other people, and it's pretty rude to criticize it so harshly because you don't even know how hard it is to make a manga that is somewhat decent.
I want you to ask one question. Do you love this manga because of its smut scenes or it plot? Of course, I like reading yaoi mangas. But this one obviously doesn't make sense at all. Guy is forcing himself to other one. And he says that this is love.

OH. MY. FUCKiNG. GOD. do you not understand??? There are only 8 fucking chapters, and you are already criticizing it. WAIT FOR THE FUCKING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. And what kind of question is "Do you love this manga because of its smut scenes or it plot?" ?????? doesn't seem like you are paying attention to the goddamn plot. YOU try making a story that seems somewhat even a little interesting. It's really hard, dude. You wouldn't understand. AND you criticizing the story is basically criticizing the author. YOU CANT BE CRITICIZING. YOU PROBABLY HAVEN'T EVEN BOUGHT 1 CHAPTER OF THIS MANGA TO SUPPORT THE AUTHORS HARD WORK. just stop reading this manga if you don't like it so much.

There is really no recovering from being a rapist. It doesn’t really matter what “character development” someone has, if they raped someone, they can never make up for the trauma and pain they caused. I understand it’s fiction, but romanticizing rape should not be a norm.

I agree, but this is just a story. Basically everything in most yaoi mangas are fiction. "if they raped someone, they can never make up for the trauma and pain they caused." - I agree with that if it were in real life. The reason why I don't think that applies to most yaoi mangas is because the person who "raped" the other usually become a couple and actually love each other in the end. It's a way that most authors try to develop a relationship or have some drama. Rape is pretty common in yaoi mangas, so you should learn to expect it because im kinda fucking tired of seeing the "romanticizing rape should not be a norm." kind of comments in the comment section of literally every single yaoi manga i read. It's just part of the story. fucking accept it, and if u really think it's wrong to put rape in a manga, just leave.

You’re telling me to turn a blind eye to rape being romanticized in yaoi? Do you how wrong that is? For a genre that represents mlm— where there isn’t much representation in mainstream media— to have a reoccurring theme of rape in its romance is not okay. You justify rape because it’s fiction and because it’s common, but that does not mean it’s okay. No one should EVER accept rape as “part of a story” when the story is about love. Rape should NEVER be used as casual drama to spice up a story. Your ignorance is really showing.

exactly^ plus making it ok in fiction misleads readers to eventually believe this is somewhat ok in real life as well smh
