This is confusing because we just got introduced to three different characters involved with the uncle, but I'm rooting for Channing. He had been there for both of them and now he has an unrequited love. I hope he finds someone perfect for him
Emilia obviously has favorites or she's just like all the FL characters who suddenly go dumb for "love" or in front of a guy. If she could be cold-hearted to Ophilia's mother then she can do the same to the three dudes since she's set on the reason for everything is because they want Ophilia.

Can someone explain what happened in chapter one? I love the art, but I'm still confused. Did she get thrown back in time or just transported somewhere because the silver hair dude didn't want to listen to her?
It was a flash back she wasn't transported. She had a nightmare of her past as a knight. From what I'm inferring her magic battle sense was sealed/taken away. So she left the capital and went to live in an far off village where ppl don't know her.
My theory is that the emperor sealed her powers for "backtalking" or questioning his tactics.
Stopped at chapter 3, can someone tell me if the emperor is a jerk in this life too? Should I continue it or will the uke have the same fate as his past life?
You can continue reading, because of the uke's teachings he grows up into a different person than shown in the past life, he's respectable, patient and he's honestly really cute! He completely adores the uke too :)
