always dislike it when they make a male mc ridiculously dense when it comes to romance and relationships to purposely make it look like he has zero regard for their love interest.. like the optics of constantly going to brothels while youre bethrothed.. taesan is not a serious man omg can we please give yeon a real side story we're not asking for much

the art is seriously insane.. it can be inconsistent at times, but wow its so expressive and exudes such a high quality! it really brings justice to the fantasy setting and the fight scenes. the background characters are wonderful to look at. on another note, i love the design of marie!! her fluffy hair is so cute and i like that she doesnt look or act like a typical love interest. i adore that shes annoying and obnoxious on purpose, and i personally love the dynamic between her and chris. really hope shes the fl in the future.
REALLY GOOD SO FAR! its a quality manhwa, evident from the really nice art and easily immersive plot. i started reading with no expectations but i was taken back by the almost cinematic first chapter.
i really like taesans archetype, the morally grey/tiptoeing the line between good and evil sort of arrogant but charismatic male lead, and in this life hes even getting character development with the help of the supporting cast. which is another positive of this manhwa - it actually handles the other characters pretty well! nothing exceptional, but theyre not treated as disposable background characters either! i already have a huge soft spot for soso, shes such a darling. the chapter where she wrote to her mother was so lovely. i hope for a good story for yeon too, as shes probably gonna be the female lead but im so curious about the unnamed woman that appears to be the sole motivation for taesan to reach his peak powers.
i hope this continues until it reaches over a hundred chapters. so excited to see more dishes from our world being introduced!
There's gonna be way more than a hundred, the manga is pretty slow paced, but it's thrice faster than the novel. And so far there's 15 volumes currently out. Unless they ax the manga which I hope they don't cause I love the art
bruh what is going on season three started and suddenly theres a romance subplot between hanbin/kibier and artis/zephyr?????? it feels like the writer got completely switched out and now theyre erasing everything about the characters and their preestablished relations??? and the romance isnt even fucking good, they feel completely ooc! all of them! there was no hint of attraction between artis and zephyr until ch. 108 and kibier is suddenly relegated to a jealous tsundere whos in move with hanbin for no particular reason?? what the fuck is going on
Have literally no idea what you're on about. The romance is subtle enough/soft and doesn't have much effect on the action. If you're both part of the dragon race I think romantic thoughts are inevitable (this was in the novel) plus the further chapters show their relationship becoming closer (not in the novel which makes manwha actually better). Kivye and Hanbin are also not dramatically pushing their relationship and they only have soft undertones, it's a total slow burn. Kivye is not a jealous tsundere, read some more from that chapter she's not jealous of the relationship but more so frustrated/saddened by the fact she will have to leave her friends to reunite with the goddess after the mission. And whether those friends actually care when she leaves makes her moreso frustrated.

this is so fucking good! i devoured all the chapters in one sitting! its up there with return of the mount hua sect and murim login in terms of quality and enjoyability! theres so many aspects i enjoy with this story! the art is splendid, the main character is both charismatic and kind, the cast is varied and not one note, the storyline is interesting and easy to invest in, the tone balance between the humor and the more serious parts is so crazy, and most of all theres a heart in this story. while its exhilirating to read about hu gong crushing his enemies in the most brutal ways, its also so gratifying and heartwarming to see how he honors and helps his loved ones and newly acquired friends. he genuinely gains a platonic harem full of people through his journey and its just nice to read about. anyways, i highly recommend this story!
sooo happy to read about a female mc with out of ordinary skill that shes passionate about! i find her so endearing when shes in a tangent about mechanical engineering. personally find this pretty well written in comparison to a ton of other works in the same genre. yes, the premise is rehashed and theres tons of tropes present but its not bad at all. theres actually some heart in it and really likeable characters, so much so that im sticking around to read just for them. i like that theres a glimmer of redemption given to some of the family members and that not everything is black and white. it can be corny at times, but im glad that lillian finds it in her heart to still be kind. she doesnt let herself be pushed over and has a strong will. i really like her.
