when did this side story take place ? after the main events or after? I thought they are already a couple since they were so lovey dovey in the main story (e.g. that chapter when they were walking at the park and did it in a public restroom)
I think that's the title bcuz (i know im gonna get hated for this) hyesung is not really feeling love , he's attracted to dojin bcuz they're mates and he cant help it, it's nature. The attraction or 'love' he's feeling is just an illusion.
Honestly I’ve been waiting for someone to say this. Hyesung was really pulled into this relationship without much of a say so. Everything happened to him so fast and he had no time to process any of it. And at one point (it still kinda does right now tbh) his life depended on him learning to accept and be with Dojin because of their bond. Hyesung was never really given a choice in any of this and if he was he had a lot of forces persuading him to go against his judgement. In a way this isn’t really love. It’s a Part of survival instinct.
TO BE FAIR. A good number of omegaverse mangas are like this. In a lot of them, it's the omega or alpha first coming on and the omega gets roped into a physical relationship fast & the hormones pile up and they end up together and it leaves yiu with a sour taste in your mouth when it feels like the character didn't get the chance to assess what they want enough. HOWEVER, I don't mind the way this webtoon is going considering season 2. It's true Hyesoon didn't really get a chance but that boy is in denial of something every other chapter & honestly, I hate how they didn't have good communication from the start. Obviously they wouldn't bc it's a friggin webtoon/manga I guess （￣へ￣). BUT there was a point where they each genuinely liked each other is season 2, it's just that Hyesung's PRIDE got in the way of saying it aloud bc of his perception of rich alphas and the whole situation with him still needing to accept what it means to be an omega and all its aspects. At the same time of this in season 2, Dojin Already knew he genuinely liked Hyesung but the dumbass wouldn't say it aloud bc he feared it would ruin everything if Hyesung really didn't like him, ESPECIALLY when they found out he was pregnant bc Dojin couldn't let the baby die prematurely. IN A WAY, separately from the issues of the relationship being forced, they both like being with each other as individuals, they in fact do balance each other out. BUT because of so much miscommunication + them getting pregnant quickly, Hyesung kept falling back into denial about what it means to be an omega; he kept seeing the "ugly" sides and it was no help that Dojin is hella rich and kept being insecure to say he liked the boy out loud through this tormoil in season 2. SOOO I believe this is as good as it's gonna get for the two dumbasses to reach each other and finally have GOOD communication. This most recent development with Hyesung's increasing desire for sex I think is just more like him finally (unconsciously) getting so comfortable being an omega with an alpha that his instincts intensify due to their bond. AGAIN, another "ugly" side to being an omega for him, but eventually they worked it out and Hyesung is accepting that he is an omega and he's gonna have to face the fact that the bond intensified his instincts and there's nothing wrong with being more sexual AS AN OMEGA. This last misunderstanding was partly bc it shocked him to feel like he wanted Dojin so badly and he 'devalued' the fact that he wants Dojin as much as Dojin has wanted him.
i saw the raws of the next chapter on an fb page (rapist meets the omega part) , i actually translated it in english word by word in the post's comment section so others can understand it but sadly the raws were deleted by the fb page, I will do my best to summarize it

So the omega's daughter is playing in the park and he was sitting on a bench , watching from afar with his groceries and his baby boy. Then the rapist came there to smoke a cigarette and stood behind him and called his name. The omega looked at his back and was of course shocked to see his rapist standing behind him [[insert flashback of the time he was raped at school---In this scene the omega was erasing the blackboard and then he was suddenly snatched by senpais and laid him on a desk and the rapist alpha(the father of his daughter)is on top of him and asked with a smirk "hey is it true that you're an omega?"]].
-back to the present-
The rapist then said, "how many years has it been". The omega talks to him coldly and addresses him in his name. The rapist was like "Hm? You're not calling me senpai anymore like the good ol days?" Then he sees the girl and asks the omega if that's his (the omega's) kid. Then he said something like(in a sarcastic tone) "wow you didnt get an abortion, you actually kept the baby, how old is she?8?9? "
Then omega kinda freaked out and the alpha said something like "chill im not gonna steal your groceries" Then the girl heard the omega freak out and she ran towards him. Then the alpha asked her name. (i think he already knows he's the father but he doesnt actually give a fck). Then the alpha said something like " wow we have the same hair, let me touch it, is it silky?" he leaned down and he was about to touch her hair but mom omega stopped his hand and was not scared anymore and became brave and mad and was like "dont touch her!!!" The alpha was pissed and said "let go of my hand" then he snatched his arm from the omega. Then he told the omega to come to his office to sign papers of agreement regarding their daughter. He said in case the omega and the alpha he's currently with got in a fight and break up and his life becomes fcked up, the omega might think of leaving their daughter in his (the rapist's) care and he doesnt want that to happen bcuz he doesnt want to take care and to take responsibility of the girl. He leaves.
Then omega said sorry to his girl bcuz he scared her bcuz he shouted all of a sudden(to the rapist alpha when he was about to touch the girl). He said that he's going to make her her favorite dish.
It is revealed in this chapter that the rapist alpha got away with his crime bcuz his family especially his father are very influential.

Im really interested with the new character, the black haired guy at the end (Kamiya).
He is older than Doumeki and Doumeki said that older people are his type. I dunno why but I smell a love triangle coming.
My guess is that the ending of the story will be like this: either Yashiro dies or he will once again give up his love (like he did with his first love, Kageyama) and leave Doumeki to Kamiya. Just my theory ;)
