100% the fault of the fan translator. It shouldn't be Kimael idk why they are translating it to that. The Korean raws are showing it to be "Kiel". I can't read Korean fluently specifically, but I've been learning and I can read some sentences and I know the Hangul and I searched the raws for the story, managed to find the synopsis where they mentioned Keil's name.... had to read it in English first LOL
황제 키엘이 This means "Emperor Kiel" in Korean "키엘" almost sounds exactly like Kiel if you were to say it out loud so yea idk where in the heck they got "kimael" (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

And calling him Lord instead of Emporer…like what? It’s great that people take their time to do translations but they should also have an understanding of the work beforehand to see how it was done and where they should pickup from. Changing names and titles midway is confusing.
Can someone give me a recap of season 2 until the part where Taekang apologizes? Haha I don't wanna go through all the pain again I just wanna get caught up coz I previously dropped this but now it seems it's moving forward positively
The emperor's name changed from Kiel to Kimael? Why?

In Korean it’s 2 syllables (Kee-ael) but since it’s not a Korean name, I’d say “Kyel” is correct if you want pronounce it as they likely intended
Oooo yea I definitely see that!! I change my stance and agree Kyel sounds better lolol
