I can't really understand why would the author put his backstory first? From the comments itself, most of us are seriously not forgiving him. If the author is giving us this to explain his actions to the fl, NO, IT DID NOT VALIDATE OR REASON OUT WHAT HE DID. The reasoning out should've been better tbh. There should be a much more reasoning to his actions before his story came, that way, we would've liked him more. My point of view honestly.
