Some really like the story, so it's worth it to buy the story. Some might also not be comfortable reading illegally, they choose to buy because they have the money too. People are also curious. Mingwa has a very built stronghold on a lot of readers, she's literally like the mistress of cliffhangers. Some might also want faster updates instead of waiting for illegal sites to upload. People feel and react differently too. You might hate something but they love it.

I love how the parents are involved in this type of situation in their kid's life cuz some mangas don’t do that…. Tsugumi and Megumi are clearly minors.. yes they're in their teenage life and sexual interactions are very normal
but being a guardian and just supervising or just knowing who the person your child is involved with is very good and needed. The fact that very few ppl don't talk about this cuz most smut, school life genres don't seem to go into the parent's characters they are more so a side character with no emotion than the actual parent of the mc's ... I love this manga they're refreshing...
