I wanna add my 2 cents about Ichiro's loan. Japan has a inheritance tax for everything - that is when someone dies and make another person their heir, the heir has to pay money to inherit what is willed to them. A lot of the time the inheritance tax is so high that the heir will fill an application to remove themselves from the will. If you've read about "Japan's abandoned houses", this is one of the reasons for that phenomenon: children don't have enough money to pay for the inheritance tax for their parents' houses after the parents are dead and have to renounce their claim to that property, thus makes the house ownerless and abandoned. For Ichiro, I guess he decided to keep his inheritance (the restaurant - which is a real estate property), which he had to pay the tax for but didn't have the money to, so he loaned them from loanshark and ended up with this debt.

i finished reading the first season of this manhwa and to sum up, this story is full of "but wait" and "Hol'up" moments lol. there's a lot going on and i hope the author find a good way to solve all the mess.

they didn't "get together" yet, they were just seen together at that final scene. nothing is set in stone. actually the more evil one (as of right now) is the prince lol. the prince and the brother were both fighting for the throne. MC and Ellie are twin brothers actually, and Ellie is the witness to some crime that can make or wreck the prince/the brother's chance to be the king, that's why Ellie was taken to the brother's household to be adopted.

I hope there won't be any unnecessary drama and by the end I'd get to see them getting married, or at least being in each other's registry... At least in Japan you can register same sex partnership in Shibuya and being gay is not a crime punishable by law. Yuu's parents only kicked him out of the house but in many other parts in world he probably would've been jailed, tortured (conversion therapy) or even killed. I wish there will be a day we see LGBT people and relationships just as they are: people and relationships within people who love each other.

Guys, please go to https://kedamascans.wordpress.com/2020/09/16/old-fashioned-cupcake-vol-1-extras/ to thank the translator for doing a splendid job with this manga! Without their superb translating skills we wouldn't have been able to 100% enjoy a masterpiece like this!

every time a new Korean chapter gets released y'all be seeing me here begging people who know Korean for an explanation lol. my limited Korean vocab could get me through vanilla stories like How to chase an alpha but for complex stories like this one... all i can understand is that I shouldn't have dropped out of Intermediate Korean my junior year in college lol. anw I've been buying this story on L3xhin and my biggest wish is that for the next season (author said she planned to have 3 seasons) the Eng release will be closer to the Korean release because right now we're 4 weeks behind and my curiosity is killing me haha

PEOPLE WHO HAVE JUST READ CHAP 50!!!! Please answer my question T__T

Did GS talk about San's past? And in the flashback to when San was a kid, what happened? Did his parents notice something about him or sth like that?

Yes, GM talks about San’s past. San was originally human who had somehow walked into the underworld. Usually, when humans do that, their souls leave their bodies because the underworld is set up to take only souls. But San body and souls had a strong bond so he walked into the underworld fully alive. The underworld tried to reject him so GM disguised him as a goblin. In his past, he told his mom about the thing behind her. It completely freaked her out so she begged her sister to take him in. The sister initially said no but when his mom brought up them being them the same, meaning they can see spirits, her sister got mad. She asked San’s mom if she was going to try and kill him like she tried to with her. San’s mom tried to drown her sister because she attracted spirits and they made it difficult for her to feel at ease. I guess, the sister/aunt took him in. GM said that San had powerful spiritual abilities. That meant he served as a magnet for spirits. But yeah, that’s the whole chapter.

So the accident he was in was that because he walked into the underworld alive? He was originally human but died and changed into a goblin? or is he still human who has powerful spiritual abilities? how he died there? and why he was with hwan in the last pic..sorry for the questions.I'm so curious and confused
