Coming back to this after finishing it a year ago... it's still so good!
I love everything about this series! I still find the description funny though, considering what it states vs the actual plot! Plus the tags: shoulda definitely added psychological and drama. Anyone who starts reading this without knowing anything would read the description and tags thinking this were a lighthearted romantic comedy!

This really doesn't do it for me.
In the beginning it felt like this was gonna be pretty interesting (aside from the over-the-top bullying)
The whole premise reminds me of a somewhat similar webtoon called Cherry Boy, That Girl, only unlike the webtoon, this one is just all over the place.
In this, all of the problems and drama are caused by the forced, overly antagonistic school girls (seriously no one is THAT pent up, much less an entire school full of people) bullying the MC. In the webtoon the MC herself was the cause of all the bullying in the beginning. She wasn't just a victim, hell I sympathised with the bullies for a while. But then she showed growth, she understood she was being a b**** and got better. She turned into a strong, genuinely likable character who wouldn't put up with any bs.

And then their was the 'main' lead. Both are dicks. The difference is how the MCs see them. In this, he's always seen as justified somehow and that it's okay because he loves her and shit. In the webtoon, the main guy is eventually seen as a creep by the MC, it takes time but she gets that his behaviour is unhealthy. It sympathises with him, but also shows that they weren't meant for each other.

The 'second' main leads are both adorable! But again the guy in the webtoon was more realistic and better characterised. I also appreciate how the MC wasn't wishy washy about him (going back to the first love interest constantly), once they started dating that was it! (Still nice that the 'second'main leads in both of these are actually the real leads!)

My biggest complaint about this is the goddamn school. Any person in their right mind would GTFO of that kooky school!! No hot bois are worth that shit!

I'm nopeing outta this whole thing. Akamaru pls just stay normal and live a good life!

This is probably one of my all time favourite series.
It doesn't need any over-the-top drama to keep you hooked and despite being about S&M they managed to get away with not showing any hardcore stuff but still make the light 'play' seem crazy!
I know that the raw version is still updating so hope isn't lost! But I really hope this continues to be translated!

What a good read.

This entire manhwa made me so uncomfortable, but at the same time it was so thought provoking. The main characters were constantly mind-gaming each other, they were never dense or oblivious to the situation which in some ways was pretty refreshing but also kinda scary. It's one thing to be the dense main lead who doesn't know all the bois wanna touch that, but to be aware and manipulative is something I'm so not used to seeing in these kinda things.
I can't really hate the main girl though, or Ma-ha. They're super dicks but they're so interesting to follow and form a fun dynamic.
I wasn't a huge fan of Shin-bi tbh. His character is well written and I don't think he deserved what happened at the end (after all Hye-Min is about as guilty of doing the same thing), but even if he was being played he still did some unforgivable things that messed up her entire life.

Honestly the only truly likable characters were Jung-hyun and Ma-Ha's ex-girlfriends. Seriously they made the right choice of butting out of all the drama xD

Hey, I'm planning to buy all 9 volumes on Amazon, but i don't want to buy it if its not worth it. Can you tell me what Shin-bi did? Did someone die?

I'd say read a few chapters first (although the first few chapters really do not reflect the rest of the manhwa too well) before deciding to buy the whole series.
I personally would buy it but I can't say it's for everyone.
Someone does die which is why I'm surprised it isn't listed as a tragedy.
Also I can't really say what Shin-bi does without giving too much away but despite that he's still an interesting character and honestly most characters in this are morally grey.

I recommend you buy it, i think it's a good manhwa. Just know that the description and tags are very different from the actual manhwa - it's more 'psychological, drama, romance, josei, comedy, tragedy'

Urgh ╥﹏╥ I really don't like tragedies< can you please inbox me who dies and tell me what Shin-Bi did?

On one hand DEVELOPMENT. But on the other hand now it's getting real...

I love this series so much. All of the characters feel so fleshed out and real, you just want to support 'em all!
I can't be mad at either Taesoo or Sooha in this situation. They both have their own levels of baggage that make this whole relationship. It's not because of shallow misunderstandings caused by a third party, it's caused by them as people.

As awkward as this whole beginning might be, I can really see them as a strong couple once they get through this. They're going through the opposite of a honeymoon phase xD
