The ml is trying to destroy the exorsist organization. The reason he wanted to recruit mc was to find someone strong that would help him achieve that goal. Right before the mc was going to kill ml, he changed his mind after hearing what ml's goal was. Rn mc is having nightmares because of the nightmare horse that brought him to the place they fought at. So the ML is actually the child of MC's teacher and the swordlady friend (i dont remember if we saw her in the manhwa yet, if we did the scene was MC learing swordsmanship from his teacher and a lady shows up and "defeats" his teacher). ML is around the same age as MC (ML is a bit younger) amd MC is actually the vessel to a god of calamity. His teacher wasnt trying to kill MC, he was actually just sealing the god of calamity. Now the reason ML wants to take the orginization down is because it has become corrupt.
The info above ik is correct i remember very clearly.
From what i remember and this could be off from this point on (i could be wrong and misremembering/misinterpreting), the ML parents who were exorsists got rid of the exorsism agency (or whatever its called) back before MC became his teachers student because it had become very corrupt and thats why his teacher tells him not to trust exprsists. The exorsist agency was later reestablished by a traitor and remains corrupt since then and so the ML infiltrated the agency to get rid of it just like his parents did because of the corruption.
Again that could be wrong i read a rough translation and i read a lot of stuff so could be getting diff stories mixed up. But im pretty sure thats what it is.
