So this is spoilers up until now at chapter 24. I actually really love this series, I just read another comment where I got complaints spoiled and now I know the entire lore roughly but it's still good. The art style is beautiful, Edith is actually a loveable mc too. She genuinely warms my heart and I do like her. I wish she was a bit less like the stereotypical mc but at the same time I don't have anything against her. ML is good too. ヾ(☆▽☆) the bath scene had me go crazy. Anyway I'm picky but I do recommend this genuinely. A very cute and good read tbh.
This is my honest review. At first it seems very cute and nice, but to be honest as it goes on it slowly loses potential. The villains are all incredibly stupid, ignorant, rude and the emotions feel so fake in this story. You'd think if they managed to kill her and hide everything then they'd be smarter but oh my god. Beatys aunt literally almost died like 3 times but had so much nerve and disrespect every time like she didn't understand the gravity of the situation. Reeter is just stupid. These are the master smart villains? Bro this sucks. And why is her family so rude? They treat THE ROYALE FAMILY like trash. There I'd literally no signs of any power struggle in this story despite it being centered around it. 50% of this story is just useless beating around the bush, cuteness fan service and it's not fulfilling at all. She laughs at her old murderer and is not barely scared? Why are their emotions so short lived besides the family's bloodlust and anger. But even then it just isn't that interesting. It's an okay read if you're bored, I guess. The plot is interesting but everything is so shallow and everyone isn't all that smart besides mc, obviously.. anyhow it's like a 6/10 the best part is the art style. Story and character development doesn't do it justice at all.
