MC seems like an overly confident rookie whose first assignment was way over his head. He doesn’t even seem to have a partner or handler. He’s trying to do his job without any backup, and since he’s undercover he doesn’t even have weapons. It seems like his superiors seriously underestimated how serious the drug scene is and definitely ticked up by sending A) just one person and B)someone with no experience.
