the beginning was soo good like it gave slow midday vibes, even with the war going on. the dynamics were also pretty mainstream but still could have gone interestingly.
heide is just there bro like he's adding nothing much to the story or the romance and what the king said ab love and admiration was 100% true.
and then the recent chapters. wth happened to the cold and willful man i stayed for?? having sex with a mentally 4 year old child? ayo brother ewww....(⊙…⊙ )
art style's kinda rough but at least mc's didnt go through the twinkification (ehemm Regas).
Plot seems so be on a good route, and mc's got an interesting personality. cant wait for more! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
look, the twinkification in regas is... it's just... it's for comedy *winces*
here I can't tell if he shrunk or not. Like, he's lanky and gangly and he got no stamina to speak of and is a walking statement of "one-track-mind" (though I hold high hopes for someone who crawls out of bed from a coma and subsequently "walks it off" using his IV-stand as a crutch)
and I cannot begin to express in words how much I simply love that this character is well-rounded with goals and convictions that got absolutely nothing to do with. The formerly bereft widower Kim-whats-his-name.
like, his stocks. (relatable)
It's a rollercoaster, but definitely worth it. Sorta dark, but I'd recommend it.
Read this a few years ago but with each reread i feel the same as ever. Although the first time was kinda confusing, I feel like I could understand Jaehan more and more.
The characters are really complex and I believe them to be well-written, each emotion having a valid reason. There's little to no interference with their relationship, so it's just characters trying to understand themselves and each other. Jaehan's flip was a scene that broke my heart, imagine hurting someone that you have loved the whole time without realizing. Although some communication would have been nice, it's also understandable why they couldn't.
Tension is some parts was insane, and other more mundane parts were heart-warming (during second time rereading). I also adore how they don't do it for more than 2 chapters at a time, sometimes the scenes don't even last a full chapter.
In short, if you just want a quick read without too much thinking, yup go for it.
yeaaa like most people here, i rlly don’t see where and when the love started to bloom. I can definitely see the princess fall in love but then Ian??? i knew the princess would just be used as someone to pair Ian with as she’s practically the only “available” woman here. Romance was not needed, in my opinion. ( ̄へ ̄)
On the story telling, I’d say that the pacing was a bit fast and there were some parts that could have been fleshed out more. There wasn’t that tension and suspense I was looking for. Some characters could have been developed more, so I didn’t really feel attached to these people.
I absolutely loved the first 20 chapters. Explaining how the Rwanda grew up wrong, the experiments, that midwinter guy. Everything was perfect. And then things went wrong. Them getting aged up 5 years was a good choice, but what the hell happened to Rwanda??? Killer of killers?? The "romance" that happened between him and Kathy was not fleshed out enough for him to take such extreme actions. All in all, I adored the mother and i'll just ignore the last 5 chapters(● ̄(エ) ̄●).
i was wondering how much the omegaverse affects the plot? like if the omega is usually strong, but just collapses in front of their alpha or the omega gets weakened from having a baby or some other nonsense.
also does the omega get pregnant in the novel?
(spoiler alert) i read the novel so that’s my basis.
MC being omega doesn’t really affect the current timeline. The previous life though, it did because in this universe, the 2nd gender is very new, hence there are SOOOO many misconceptions, bias, and prejudice against omegas.
Since Yuder regressed, he did his best this time to make sure people are more educated and ready regarding heat cycles, he even helped make supression pills very early unlike in the past. This new life is definitely better and the MCs relationship will now have good bases which are trust and loyalty
As for pregnancy, i havent finished reading but i’ve read majority of the novel so far and there’s none yet.
thank you so much!ヾ(☆▽☆)
Enjoy reading. Here’s the link of the novel if you’re interested

Istg, it’s worth the read. As an avid reader for 20+ years, i can confidently say that the plot, worldbuilding, pacing, characters are all well planned and written. It’s so good! It’s a 5star novel for a reason
Thank you! I'll add it to my reading list
TWENTY YEARS IS CRAZY THO thats some commitment
I've always love reading books ever since I learned reading which was 4 years old I don't even care about genres as long as I'm entertained
*learned how to read
wow u started real early. i feel like i started rlly late compared to others, so im juggling a few novels at all times. at least im never bored now ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
It would have been better if they use omegaverse as a source of power, like not just for sex, but something that can help you enhance your abilities but with side effect and anything.
But I guess it fits a guideverse plot
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
but aboverse is literally just for 2nd genders. the main purpose of this genre is to make it possible for men to get pregnant or make it normal in the universe for men to fall in love with other men without prejudice.
however, it's still up to the authors how they're gonna make the rules; if they are just going to follow the traditional or make a new non-traditional ABO.
in this story's case, they gave us a universe in which ABO genders are just new, which gives us new perspective, and I find that fascinating enough.
in other stories, ABO genders are already established. there are already certain rules and prejudice, like alphas are for omegas, and betas are for betas, or alphas are the strongest, and omegas are nurture typesetc.
in this story, we're gonna see how the ABOverse itself as a culture evolved from the beginning, alongside the characters themselves, which is a fascinating addition to the plot. i like that the author gave us 2 possibilities. the past life, where the introduction of 2nd gender to the world wasn't handled well. and the 2nd life, where it is handled with care and respect.
i also love that the author didn't add the ABO aspect for the smut. it was mainly to make the MC more badass. like he is an omega but he is unlike any other omegas we have ever read before
Traditional once are okay, but modifying it somehow to used in fantasy genre would have give a fresh ideas and new ways to use ABO for plot. I actually thought before, even in 2020 that it cool to see how ABO can have modifications. Nonetheless, the story was already great and I just love to imagine how to modify a story.
Also, thanks for the spoilers!
nah, considering how the huge the plot is. whatever i said aren't that relevant to the main plot in comparison. they are all just tiny background details that i like about the universe. they are not spoilers
ABO wasn't even the main focus of the story so don't worry, you can still read this story
Not that much, the novel is more like an fantasy action genre, the omegaverse is like 5% only?
exactly
Oh okay perhaps I should look forward more of their powers (●'◡'●)ノ
Yeeees! The author made an amazing plot surrounding all the characters's powers and it's so fun coming up with theories of how they happened, where these powers came from, how they are related to the users, etc.
