oml i rm this when it first came out and had to reread it bc the side stories are now out. theres just so many concepts in here that im too tired to pick out but goodness, it was an amazing read.
the character development was peak, MC, ML, ML's brother having a change in personality rlly did it for me.
I understand ML's brother and where he's coming from, but, of course, his actions are too extreme. With the help of the MC and ML, I'm glad he got some closure. Basically, I wanna see him get a happy ending as well, romantic or not, please just allow this guy to change for the better. ngl, it's probably a lil romantic, most likely to involve his (ex)fiancée's brother bc clearly that man has something for him...

the story is honestly one of the best fantasy bl romance type plot. i was disappointed in the twinkification, but surprisingly, i still came back every single week. idek why this twinkification didn't affect me, maybe bc abel's personality outshone everything else. hopefully season 2 will come soon

i was wondering how much the omegaverse affects the plot? like if the omega is usually strong, but just collapses in front of their alpha or the omega gets weakened from having a baby or some other nonsense.
also does the omega get pregnant in the novel?

MC being omega doesn’t really affect the current timeline. The previous life though, it did because in this universe, the 2nd gender is very new, hence there are SOOOO many misconceptions, bias, and prejudice against omegas.
Since Yuder regressed, he did his best this time to make sure people are more educated and ready regarding heat cycles, he even helped make supression pills very early unlike in the past. This new life is definitely better and the MCs relationship will now have good bases which are trust and loyalty
As for pregnancy, i havent finished reading but i’ve read majority of the novel so far and there’s none yet.

Istg, it’s worth the read. As an avid reader for 20+ years, i can confidently say that the plot, worldbuilding, pacing, characters are all well planned and written. It’s so good! It’s a 5star novel for a reason

It would have been better if they use omegaverse as a source of power, like not just for sex, but something that can help you enhance your abilities but with side effect and anything.

but aboverse is literally just for 2nd genders. the main purpose of this genre is to make it possible for men to get pregnant or make it normal in the universe for men to fall in love with other men without prejudice.
however, it's still up to the authors how they're gonna make the rules; if they are just going to follow the traditional or make a new non-traditional ABO.
in this story's case, they gave us a universe in which ABO genders are just new, which gives us new perspective, and I find that fascinating enough.
in other stories, ABO genders are already established. there are already certain rules and prejudice, like alphas are for omegas, and betas are for betas, or alphas are the strongest, and omegas are nurture typesetc.
in this story, we're gonna see how the ABOverse itself as a culture evolved from the beginning, alongside the characters themselves, which is a fascinating addition to the plot. i like that the author gave us 2 possibilities. the past life, where the introduction of 2nd gender to the world wasn't handled well. and the 2nd life, where it is handled with care and respect.
i also love that the author didn't add the ABO aspect for the smut. it was mainly to make the MC more badass. like he is an omega but he is unlike any other omegas we have ever read before
Traditional once are okay, but modifying it somehow to used in fantasy genre would have give a fresh ideas and new ways to use ABO for plot. I actually thought before, even in 2020 that it cool to see how ABO can have modifications. Nonetheless, the story was already great and I just love to imagine how to modify a story.

Yeeees! The author made an amazing plot surrounding all the characters's powers and it's so fun coming up with theories of how they happened, where these powers came from, how they are related to the users, etc.
hopped into it with no expectations and came out amazed tbh. although im kinda iffy with the “family” relations, theyre gods so wtvv. seth went thru so much pain, he deserves the happiest ending.

the title, cover and rating made it look like it was some rather trashy plot. im glad i have it a try because it was genuinely interesting.
Although the beginning was a little bit rough, I'm happy that everything was consensual and the development was at a reasonable pace. The dynamics in the relationship is also top-tier, just that both of them are relatively shitty people.
