So to summarize the newest chapters
- jintae is in love with jeongyeon but not the same way he loves leeshin since jeongyeon taught him what “lust” was and he wants to spend his time with him
- jeongyeon tried to kill leeshin since leeshin has everything he wants and jeongyeon is “greedy” and he wants to take leeshins place since he himself has nothing and hes jealous
- leeshin notices him and jintaes relationship is changing cus of jeongyeon and wants to leave with rohee but jintae gets pissed and tells him he cant leave until leeshin brings up that jintae has jeongyeon now and doesnt need him anymore, then jintae tells him to do whatever he wants
- leeshin gets ready to leave the next morning with rohee but finds out hes been poisoned by jeongyeon
- he goes to jintaes room (yes they slept together) to confront jeongyeon who plays victim and acts like he has no idea what hes talking about and jintae doesnt believe him either and is actually annoyed with him
- leeshin asks jintae to go buy an antidote for rohee and he does, in that time leeshin gets jeongyeon killed (wasnt bothered to translate how/why sry)
- jintae comes back, leeshin tells him what happened and jintae is angry and distraught and asks him why to which leeshins answer makes him strangle him whilst asking if he really hated him that much
- big jump but leeshin wakes up from a dream and finds out none of what happened was real, hes chained up in that dungeon and turns out theyve been more or less experimenting on him whilst he was asleep (he lost half his body and it grew back)
- leeshin mentions that everything thats happened so far in his life hasnt been real… no idea whether or not theyre referring to whats currently happened in the series in the modern world or what happened in that house
- jintae is getting revenge for what happened with jeongyeon since i believe jeongyeon was eaten by some people who wanted eternal life and hes having what happened to jeongyeon happen to him (i think? I got confused)
- leeshin asks if hes satisfied and jintae says no and that he thinks something is lacking in this revenge punishment, and then he asks leeshin if hes still in love with him
TLDR jintae is a bastard loser and jeongyeon is a sticky handed little cunt
Is that their first life before the second life where they reborn?? I'm still confused tho cuz of the new character

Actually I was happy uke did that to that cunt and I hate jintae so much I m happy he is dead in current timeline i m so angry in this storyline i have no idea how jinatae is piece of shit we getting flashback for but in current timeline and past timelines are interconnected with each other.
Isn't jintae dead though? And it's his younger brother that was getting revenge?
Or did he never die and basically this whole story never happened? And the real story is the one that started with the three of them being experimental on?

I understand wanting to have your child back and by your side after believing she (he) had died at birth but not taking into consideration the type of environment youd be bringing her into and the type of people shed be around is such a ridiculously stupid thing to do especially as the damn emperor. That aside i wonder if he asked the grand duke who he was thinking of cus he rly doesnt suspect the empress (for whatever reason shes been hostile enough) or if he suspects her too but wants to make sure him and the grand duke are on the same page before he makes any moves… knowing him though its probably the first reason
