IDK. When I read plots where the ml is abused ( korean or japanese or chinese) i got the feeling the hateful treatment to a royal member or noble menber is so unrealistic . Even the servants abused of a princess or queens o whatever.
It's actually not that uncommon, especially if they are considered bastards. Though normally they were killed or sent off very far away or demoted to servants.
