This manga portrayed the effects of a neglectful/abusive childhood so well that it honestly shocked me. Ryou is a deep, flawed, and painfully realistic character and I really genuinely felt for him. He felt like an actual person with actual character flaws that affected the way he acted.
The relationship development was also amazing and realistically paced. I really liked how Ryou went from initially being suspicious of Yuuichi to gradually coming to love him. It wasn’t love at first sight and what drew Ryou to Yuuichi wasn’t even the man himself but rather Ayumu who he saw his younger self in. I could imagine an actual relationship starting this way.
I love both the main leads and Ayumu. Everything in this manga is perfect. It even made me cry! This is definitely a new favorite of mine!
I feel like tagging this “Yaoi” is kind of not very accurate because J is obviously portrayed as either a trans woman or nonbinary. This is actually a problem with a lot of manga featuring trans people in straight relationships, they often end up tagged as either Yaoi or Yuri.
I feel like it’s probably due to Japan having some problems portraying trans people and when they are portrayed it’s usually pretty ambiguous as usually the character doesn’t directly call themselves trans.
I liked this manga a lot but I feel like the tagging probably caused a lot of confusion.
Obviosly is a transwoman but people is like this, I cant.... well, thank gos there are people like you, thanks to that. Maybe Nakamura had to done a extra for dumbs explaining it with detail.
It didn’t have much to do with the main story but that scene with the wolf family was fucking brutal. That wasn’t even hunting down a foe that was causing harm, it was just the straight up slaughter of an entire family.
I’m rooting for the Incubus so far as he hasn’t appeared to have killed anyone who hasn’t had it coming.
People who side more with Jaeha and people who side more with Eunho are both equally valid. Stories are meant to be interpreted differently and it’s interesting to see how people’s opinions on the same source material can different so vastly.
I just wish that some people in the comments would stop making moral judgments on people who defend either of the characters. We’re just having a discussion about a piece of fiction, no need to get angry.
Never in my life have I ever wanted a Uke to not end up with a Seme more than I do now. I was keeping an open mind but now I’ve realized that there is no way I’ll be satisfied with this story unless it ends with Shou far far away from that sick fuck.
Of course, this is Harada so they’ll probably end up together anyways, ugh.
BJ Alex: I am very good at the sex and have a lot of it
Also Alex: Tries to ram it in dry after zero foreplay and afterwards proceeds to stick two lubed fingers up DG’s ass for like ten seconds before sticking his dick in again.
This. I was like dude, I thought you were experienced? This has nothing to do with him being a virgin, you just shoved your cock in there like his ass was supposed to be a massive lubricated and slippery hole...
What an absolutely awful first time.
Your partner first attempts to go in raw and after you manage to kick him away because of the pain it’s only then that he actually bothers to prepare you and even then it’s clear that Alex didn’t take much time or care to make sure DG was loose enough. DG also told Alex “no” and told him to wait multiple times but Alex completely ignored everything DG said and in the Alex wasn’t even there when he woke up.
I know it was casual sex burn Jesus Christ, Alex has no excuse for the way he treated DG. He’s supposed to be the experienced one.
The Uke is too forgiving for his own good. I get that the Seme is his childhood friend and all but sometimes you just gotta push a dude off you and run as far way as you can get. I doubt that’s gonna happen though.
I wish the Uke the best of luck, he’s gonna need it.
