It’d be nice if instead of yet another obstacle the woman his mom arranged for him to meet could turn out to be an ally.
I know that they’ll probably go the cliche route and make her fall in love with him but I’m really tired of female characters in bl that only exist as an obstacle for the main couple.
She seems pretty and nice. I hope she doesn’t turn out to be a bitch.
I get that Mari feels betrayed and yeah I’d be upset too if my best friend dated someone they thought was my boyfriend. But she really doesn’t have the right to be as pissed about it as she is.
For one, this is basically a taste of her own medicine. Why should someone pay heed to her romantic relationships when she has gleefully dated married men Without giving a shut about their families? Sure, it’s not like she was close with the wives of the men she dated but that doesn’t make what she did any better.
She’s a huge hypocrite and the fact that her first reaction to her best friend trying to apologize is to threaten to make his lie hell tells us a lot about the type of person she is. She doesn’t even let him try and apologize. Even if she’s angry she should have at least heard him out, maybe then she’s hear how guilty he felt and how he actually ended it because he was thinking of her.
In short, she technically has a right to feel betrayed but her past actions make her a hypocrite and her current actions make her a bitch.
I’ve been avoiding this manga for months because I’m really not a big fan of the whole “coma arc” especially since it appears to be an excuse to avoid focusing on the main character at all.
Is his handsome body awake yet or do I have to wait longer?
Huh? The coma arc didn't start months ago. And the main character is Lookism so even if you want to say that Hyungsuk is the true main character that would be him in his REAL body, then. Or are you just missing the point of Lookism as too many other readers have? I would say either/or based on the fact you didn't immediately write credible reasons as to why you ignored both the title and even the main character by your own 'logic'. Kthx.
Real body or fake body, Hyungsuk hasn’t been the focus of the comic for a while. I’m bored.
Also maybe it didn’t but I’m not exactly keeping track of time. It was a vague general statement that you didn’t need to read into.
I only find a few of the side characters interesting and the manwha continues to focus on the ones I don’t particularly care for.
I know what the theme of the manwha is. I can understand if other people are enjoying it right now but I’m not and I don’t appreciate you reading my disliking the slow pace of this arc as me somehow being shallow and not understanding the meaning of the manwha.
I like this manga, but I really can’t see it as a love story. Yuuya was kidnapped and raped by someone he trusted, kept in isolation for in indeterminate amount of time and then released back into the outside world without any type of adjustment period.
He has attachment issues and a need to be loved which Kanade took advantage of. Yuuya is dependent on Kanade and is unable to function without him due to how well Kanade was able to manipulate him.
The ending to this story is only a happy one for Kanade. Yuuya is kind of fucked.
Like this story ended with so many loose ends? Like what about the second pairing? I know the detective is dead but they at least should have showed the serial killer’s reaction to hearing the news in order to give their arc some type of closure.
The ending feels super duper rushed and I am left confused and wanting to know more.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from years of reading Yaoi, it’s that you better not be a bully because if you are that one kid you were kind of a jerk to in high school is gonna show up out of the blue one day, hot and unrecognizable, and fuck you in the ass.
