I thought Niro was a product of Estramus and the Elf Queen, if I had to go by his coloring and Estramus descendant being eliminated before making it to the final 16th. Evan was Khundan’s and the Elf queens kid. I thought that the common thread to both of the boys was the mother not the father.
But Evan doesn't seems to be an half-elf.

Half elves don't have to have elvin ears. That was proven by What's-her-face-can't-remember-her-name-but-she-looks-like-the-queen's uncle who was half. Niro has the abilities and is recognized as one by creatures with the ability to perceive such things.
Well maybe Evan is an half elf, but for now it's clearly not showed. I think his "instability" come from himself lol
There are a lot of hanging threads that the author doesn’t connect. There are little stories that don’t offer closure. I am not opposed to adding a climactic edge to something but they seem to just continue piling up. So now we have an Omega, reincarnation, mysterious past, shady business, crazy family, mystic magic story. I like it, but I would like some closure on some things, like what is Ji Yeon actually skilled in? Earlier they said he went to a good college and he graduated, what can he do exactly? They threw him into the role of curator, (not how curating works, but whatevs,) is he just a Mary Sue that exists to get rescued? He obviously can take of him self in somethings then he suddenly can’t? What? Why? ┗( T﹏T )┛
The reincarnation theme/ mysticism will be revisited in just a few more chapters and you'll get closure... Ji Yeon Ssi is basically an executive secretary, it's not a hard job per se. He needs to be familiar with the art and artists on exhibition; if he was familiar with his father's dealings from the artist pov this job would've been within his qualifications. Ji Yeon Ssi has not played a damsel in distress up to this point. He threw down that alpha that stole his paycheck in an attempt to get him to date him. He can be affected by alpha pheromones though, even if he isn't in heat.
That crazy cousin with the creepy smile will have closure on his story also. And the newest creepy friend of the seme is just looking for a way to blackmail or extort him even through Ji Yeon. Just be patient. I think the plot is pretty solid.

This is a good funny story. It’s different. I haven’t been bored but I can see where others might feel the story needs to focus and speed up the pace. I want to see where this story goes.
It’s starting to get a little muddled and the goals for each new character is either overlapping or confusing. That is not to say it isn’t a good story, it is. You may just have to read the light novel or the comic at least twice to make sense of something’s.
Can someone do a break down on the cores. What’s the strongest? What’s the weakest? I get a bit confused when they say I’m a such and such core.
Hey, the chapter 38.1 explains it. Basically the core stages are black, red, orange, yellow, silver and withe.
Black being the weakest and white the strongest. Each color have to transition dark, solid, and light in order to change to the next stage. :)
