I was with it until chapter 31. Like sis, your parents are still shitty. If you don’t have their love and only find proof after their death, then nope, they didn’t love you. Because they are royals is not a good enough excuse. Now you are gonna share your husband. I already don’t like you as a character now you’re willing to share the one thing that is truly yours.? No. Sheep lady, you’ve had maybes four or five chapters of development. Calm down. The protagonist I thought was a cinnamon roll but maybe he’s just weak and naive. How though? He’s had about 14 years in this world. No. So many things. The trajectory of this story is all over the place. I like the main character and if we could just focus on him
Well, consider this:
1. She treats the sheep lady like an equal. (Which doesn't normally happen in a monarch society.)
2. The sheep lady adores her like a sister.
3. Polygamy is legal there.
4. They are in a different world and thus have different values.
5. The marriage was not only romantic but political.
And as for focusing on only the MC: THAT NOT HOW PLOT DEVELOPMENT AND WORLD BUILDING WORKS!! YOU'RE JUST SIMPLY COMPLAINING ABOUT SIDE PLOTS!! Let me calm down.
Do I have to read Pearl boy to understand what’s is happening here or can I just jump in?
It looks like you can just read this but it would be helpful to read pb too if you want some context on seung-hyuns relationship with jae-il lol
I think reading Pearl Boy would be a good indication of how dark and angst this story can get while still making your heart ache in a good way
