MC I has been a victim his whole life, he chooses Garon with that level of helplessness. It's a very common behaviour, when a victim chooses to stay with the abuser because they are familiar with that dynamic, and a healthy relationship leaves them unsettled.

Garon became obsessed with the mc bcoz imae tribe had this sort of ecstasy where their victim will thirst for their body more and as time goes by, the victim's body will slowly deteriorate. And in the mc's case, he just simply experienced a type of "Stockholm syndrome" and I didn't fw that, not even a little bit.
