I saw a lot of people wondering whether or not Nergal and Cliff are the same person so I thought I'd address it:
The author said in one of their notes (on L*zhin) that Cliff has NOTHING to do with Nergal, they themselves spoiled it and were apparently puzzled that the readers even thought about that LMAO.
This is the (MTL'd) part of the Q&A addressing the issue, quoting:

I'm convinced something is wrong with his original body, like maybe somebody attacked him? But that someone would be way too strong, it wouldn't make sense, so it could be that Cliff is the god of his destroyed planet and that has something to do with his supposed condition? Idk, but I think he might be in a coma trapped in his original body, he would have never left Leon otherwise. I'm gonna make the prediction that one day the end of a chapter will be a dragon eye opening to signify Cliff waking up and then all hell will break loose (☆▽☆)
well that may be true. in worst case scenarios:
-He probably died
-He actually left him cus he jus wanted to go back to his dimension
-Or after the mc confessed to him he was uhh uncomfortable and left him?
-he got back to his dimension and couldn't find his way back to the mc's dimension
anyways, I don't think someone beat him or sumn nor he was the god he defeated, I mean thinking about it, he was the one who taught the mc how to be strong so he's probably like 10x stronger and plus he's a dragon, ain't no way he's gonna get beat up by someone like' uh what's his name again ' when the mc almost killed him when he didn't lose his powers.

Yeah! That made me think about how many novels/manhwas there are with a ml that doesn't end up with anyone, but I still have to find one with a fl that stays single. Although I'm a bit conflicted in this case, because what is even the point of the "harem" and all the flirting if there's no ml in the first place? Shouldn't it have focused more on the plot and world building rather than the hints of romance?
