I read this when it still had only a few chapters but apparently it's still ongoing, wow! Can anybody tell me what these side stories are about? I mean, is it a continuation of the main story? Does it still follow the main character or like, a side couple/their kids/whatever?

So it's kinda like a mixture.
The 1st chapters of the side story shows glimpse of the child growing up and the fathers are with the child during different ages & different scenes reminiscing about when they 1st fell in love with the Beta/Omega.
Then we get a few chapters of the Child being an adult finding a partner some smut scenes, a possibly pregnancy, and we see that he now has siblings as well 3 to be exact big Brother status.
Then the most reason ones are like a flashback on when the Beta/omega was 1st pregnant and we are seeing how the alphas treated him during that time. && we are also getting more background information on the alphas and learning a bit more about them & their families.
Hopes this helps :)

This has a very common premise, but for some reason I'm enjoying this much more than the other similar stories I've read (and mostly dropped midway) recently. Maybe it's because I really like the female lead and how ruthless she is (furhermore as somebody already said, she really reminds me of Tanya the Evil)? I don't know, it has SOMETHING different. I'm having so much fun! Most of the side characters are unsufferable, but the female lead makes up for it (and some of them seem to be going through some character development, they're becoming less unsufferable, so whatever)

Yes!! I also love it a lot. I'm realizing I've grown bored of child main characters deliberately acting cute, weak and dumb to conquer the adults of the story (this is unless they are ACTUAL children and not older transmigrators, in that case I obviously don't mind). I like it much more when their actual personality and abilities are recognized as they are

so real of u to be reminded of Youjo Senki ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ yes it look likes author do a fine job about an actual reincarnated should be if the soul was old enough/mature than the body. Well brain capacity might be a reason to be used on another-well-known troupe but it much better if they keep the mc to stay in her/his nature as adult in child body rather gray-mind adult in child/adulting mind in child(?)

I'm loving this so much, I'm so damn excited!! I almost didn't read it because of the relatively low rates but I'm so glad I did! This is my favorite type of protagonist: tragic but still strong and ruthless. Until chapter 4 I was scared he was just gonna submit to the male lead and that we were going to have the same terrible old "rape and abuse until mc falls in love for no reason without retaliatiating in any way" but for now they're ACTUAL enemies, how the male lead is acting isn't excused and he will hopefully have some character development before the mc catches feelings (I still don't see how it's going to happen but well). And the way the mc outsmarted him and got to beat him up in return, I love it! I really hope that his personality stays the same and that he won't just suddenly fall for his abuser just because they had sex. I'm actually more interested in the mc's backstory and future steps than their relationship, what happened to him and his lover? I'm so curious!

I didn't read this nor I have the intention to, but damn some of the earlier comments are frustrating. You just had to read the PLOT to know that the dude is the main character's brother and not a love interest. AND ALSO, what"s with the blatant and seemingly accepted sexism?? People freaking out because there is a man and they wanted NO MEN at all to EVEN EXIST in the story. My God, can you imagine if this was people commenting on a BL that they wanted all the women gone? They would so get cancelled and insulted. Which is fair because wtf, but this sexism towards males makes me just as uncomfortable

People always get mad, when there is a woman slightly involved with the mc in a bl, how the hell do you overlook that? And no bl has ever gotten cancelled for hating on woman, I promise you this is such a non issue. How about you take a look in the real world and see how they harass and hate on women.

When people hate on women in bl there are always other people calling them out all the time from what I saw, which is good. I also don't deny that discrimination against women exists, who said anything about that? Just because sexism towards women clearly exists doesn't mean the opposite can't and I'm still calling it out either way

Then I must have expressed myself badly because that's NOT what I meant. What I meant is that when people hate on women for no reason in BLs other readers usually call them out, but that wasn't happening in this specific case and it was pissing me off, which led to my comment. It also seemed like these replies were not recognizing the possibility of sexism existing towards men (which I hope isn't true), which was ALSO pissing me off because I see it happen a lot. That's all, have a good day/night :)
I just realized one of the reasons why I like this story so much: I got so used to knight female protagonists being more stereotypically masculine, be it in physical aspect or in how they dress (and other female characters that act feminine are often kind of made out to be less cool or less brave than her for conforming to society), even in stuff like not being good at 'noble ladies activities' like fashion or dancing. Eki is NOT like that and it's so refreshing to see! She's extremely feminine and pretty and she OWNS it. She does the exact opposite of all the other mcs: she's not "not like other girls", she's "exactly like every other normal noble lady" because she CHOSE to and doesn't care about other's opinions. She dresses in colorful frilly dresses and carefully does her makeup, and doesn't try to act more knightly for the simple fact that she likes to dress up (not wanting to be recognized was the beginning but ultimately that's what she actually likes, source: the novel). She's great not only at fashion and makeup but at dancing too, which is rare for a female lead!
She really breaks the stereotype of female knights, be it inside or outside the story.
I love the typical "not like other girls" female leads but I also crave for some change once in a while, and Eki might have just become one of my favorites
It's also refreshing how she's actually much stronger than the male lead, an actual WHOLE BIG LEVEL above him who's a sword master, when usually it's always "FL is stronger than everybody, but ML is the strongest". Even then he's no less cool just because the FL is stronger than him, he's no "damsel in distress" that the FL always has to save either.
I love both of them and they're so cute!!
