That is what I am thinking but it would be certain if his face was drawn in the end. The end felt like (for me) there is this ambiguity that made me confused on what to believe. In the end, I chose to believe that he is alive because they showed that a metal plate was used to protect him from the bullet. But another interpretation is that he actually died because there is this feel in the last panels that it could be Shell`s imagination and to add to that, his face was not drawn so it is up to the reader what to see.
When Shell shot him, he had put a piece of metal under his shirt where he shot him at. So yes, he survived. And he is living in the area where his parents hid away at and Shell was going to see him (which is also why Reign stated that he needed more of the special ingredient for the perfume. (i.e. Eric's pheromones.))
Hmmmm... I don't hate the manga per se but I can see how Kirishima can turn off readers. Sure, it may not be considered cheating since Yoshino does not love him "yet" but once she does (I hope not), I doubt Kirishima will stop having s*x friends.
Spoiler: he does stop. in fact the bit we see about him sleeping with someone at the start of the manga is the last incident of that whole thing

Please read what I said again. I said the model is BEFORE yoshino and kirishima are dating and the engagement is not real. The model is the LAST WOMAN shown with him. Any other woman AFTER are flashbacks.
