This is one of those situations where you disregard how pretty or handsome a character is because their shitty personality can’t be covered with it. I really hope he gets exposed by sooae, eunhyung or they team up with the CEO to ruin his reputation forever
I don’t really like how Penelope is disregarding that this is still Eclis’ reality and that he has feelings for her since anyone would want to do whatever to get out of the game
The fact he is from a game leaves a great impact on her behavior if we were to ever isekai then I don't think anyone would be able to have a normal mind and regard the people there as real she also wants to go back to the life where she was independent and people don't have the capacity to identify someone is "real" or fake as for Penelope she is already traumatized by her mother death she is not an empath
Tho I gotta say maybe she should give him some time at the least for him to not be fully heartbroken

I actually think sooae isn’t suited for Dohwa either way from the way she treats him as if leading him on and is always forgetting him for Eunkyuk. He’s so hopelessly in love and I hate that and the sad backstory to add to the second male lead syndrome is cruel to us readers ☹ LET HIM REST AND GIVE HIM A HAPPY ENDING WITH SOMEONE NEW (make some side stories if u have to until he receives the ending he deserves)
Sooae never lead him on , she acted like a friend to him and that's what all friends do . She helped him when he needed and I'm pretty sure dohwa knows sooae likes eunhyuk
I agree with everything u said except about Sooae leading him on. She's just dense, but she does make it clear that she only sees him as a friend and that she likes Eunhyuk. Being kind and caring about a friend doesn't mean she's leading them on. On the other hand yes, I need author to make Dohwa meet someone new and be happy with them. I hope the friendship between Dohwa and Sooae doesn't end when the ending of the manhwa comes either cause their friendship is genuine, just hope Dohwa can get over her and not get hurt...
