One side wants a child, the other doesn't. This is something that can't be negotiated, or else there might be resentment later on. If either side is not willing to budge, they really should just divorce.
Honestly though, I hate this guy's POV. He calls her overdramatic and affected by small stuff, but he also gets annoyed by petty stuff--like her rightfully calling him out for not washing the dishes. Like who the fuck leaves the dishes for days?? Men doing shit at their own pace is code for they ain't gonna do it, then get all pissy at you for calling it out.
