this is literally the best BL i have ever read. as someone who loves horror literature, this satisfied me to the brim. "satisfied" would be an understatement. i loved Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and Herbert West by Lovecraft and i did not expect to find something similar in the BL genre. i loved it so much it's insane—but i should have known better not to expect a happy ending. i got so invested i didn't even think of the ending and i felt violated by the end's angst. jesus.

mamiya, sada, and monkichi are so precious to me. what mamiya and sada had was unconventional but what they felt for each other was genuine. it's something more than love, i think, and it transcends life and death. i just love how mamiya, who's not used to affection at ALL, show his love for sada in his own clumsy ways. and throughout it all, sada was patient for him. i want to cry so bad but the ending was actually fitting for this story.

also, this is so My Chemical Romance coded! listened to them while reading and it made the experience great. i need a version of demolition lovers (the couple in the Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge) with sada and mamiya so bad TT sadly my digital art skills is shit hahaha

It’s important to me that you all know that in the final chapter Mamiya’s confession as Sada falls asleep starts with suki, moves to daisuki, and ends at aishiteru. He really really loved Sada and he understood that was the end and wanted Sada to know. A lot of Japanese people in relationships won’t say aishiteru, even some families or old married couples won’t (depends on the personality). So to me that was very significant and heart wrenching.

I love them both so much. Mamiya will always have my heart for how moe he is. He’s scared but wants to love and be loved. He’s twisted but childlike. Sada is so parent and compassionate and gentle.

AND YURI WHEN???? I need grand aunts story with the assistant NOW. I love how alike Mamiya and his aunt are. He really looked up to her. I need this author to start releasing song gl so bad.

As much as I enjoy the MC doing his best to avoid all those flags, I also want to root for Hatano-kun. Not because he is another character in this world, I think this is what the MC is putting everyone around him as. A character archetype in a BL world. Now yes, thsi was meant to be a light-hearted, funny story, but at the same time, seeing someone like Hatano, who is going to do his best to get the approval of the person he likes, is so adorable and I want to root for him. I wonder if one day Hatano can be that one person breaking out of all the tropes laid out or dodged by MC-kun to prove that romance exist outside of those typical tropes in YAOI mangas.

And this would be very wholesome because lately, the amount of YAOI that has different settings, breaking out of the old tropes have been popping up a lot, so I am looking forward to this.

Does every shounen manga need to have the ml to be with someone? I really hoped it would be all-natural and no ship would happen. Also, did you really think he would make the male lead character gay? He really can't if it's a shouen (mainly an action) manga they aren't allowed to have the male lead characters be gay or any other different type of sexuality. Side characters are allowed but not the male lead, Japan is very homophobic. I mean Oda the writer of One Piece has to kinda hide Luffy sexuality as we all know Luffy is aroace which makes it a bit obvious that Luffy has no sexual and romantic attraction but if he makes Luffy aroace his editors and publisher would not be happy and force him to change it or probably make him finish the story. Idk what would happen if he did that but I do know that they would make him do something to his manga. There is no way in hell that Horikoshi would make Deku gay if he wanted to. I am just saying it is impossible to have him make the male lead character to be gay without arguing with the publisher and his editors. In my opinion I just like this ending that it was all natural and no shipping, it bit repetitive to see the male lead get the girl maybe for once he doesn't want to be in a relationship. Idk but just stating a fact to all shippers that really wanted Deku to be gay would be very impossible to do because of how really homophobic Japan is, I mean they do not have to legalize gay marriage. Just go read god damn doujinshi if you are not happy with the ending or the canon ship

So basically chapter 431 isn’t real . And I really don’t understand if the leaks of deku and uraraka being a couple are real or fake . Can someone explain it to me because I really don’t understand. I really hate the updated epilogue over the first version. I feel a lot of character development went to the trash. Bakudeku not cannon? Not surprised at all (AO3 saves the day again) But the half assed development of IzuOcha is really bad. One, for using Toga to push it after her death WTF Second, I never saw Deku's side develop so to me it just feels like forced het couple at the end. Also, it didn't seem like they dated during the time skip and I think thats such an awkward gap for them to start dating after such a time gap. Idk Im waiting for official translation still.....Bakugo being so low in the hero ranking ugggghhh its true to character but damn Im mad about it lol (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

GUYS chapter 431 is basically a "what if" ending and Hori said that his ending is chapter 430 so it's ok
