I tried to like this since the art style reminded me of Never Understand for some reason and I LOVED that story. I also like it when the author gives time for the plot to unfold. Idk with this one it just seemed fast paced but slow at the same time. I’m bad at explaining but I was actually surprised with how fast their relationship progressed but the plot didn’t seem to keep up with their dynamic. All the mystery and “angst” just felt ~too~ dramatic because the plot was predictable. Now, I’m all for predictable plot lines but since it just felt a little drawn out for me. It lacked the pacing that Never Understand had or something like The Beast Must Die. Good story, the pacing is what made me drop this.
this is as of ch 34:
you mean to tell me he did all that just to hear the uke say he loves "Mido" before he reveals himself as "Mido"? all this for that? so now that he reveals himself as "Mido", what now? it's so fucking stupid.
i had high hopes for this when the preview came out but this is not good like ik we don't have the full background yet but it seemed like dark haired guy treated blondie well in the past so wtf is his problem?
kahim and the mc have more chemistry than k and him. the mc and k's "chemistry" feels a bit too forced, imho.
idk this story gets ridiculous after this chapter. why tf would you thank the gangster that tried to kill your bf? also, i know how important the slippers were but he literally could've just gotten it after they were thrown out. it's not like the slippers would break. the author just needed an excuse for the amnesia plot and i HATE absolutely HATE amnesia plots. the way the amnesia plot was handled here was also not good.
does anyone have any story they can recommend where the main lead is possessive borderline yandere but is good to the mc and the mc never finds out about their dark side. kinda like betrayal of dignity (before Chloe found out) or the Edge of Ambiguity.
i need help finding the title because i suddenly remembered the story. it was about this guy who finds a demon then the human got old, the demon never left until the guy died. they met again in hell where he became the demon's bride and i think he got pregnant. that's literally all i can remember.
anyway, K's former partner died protecting him. his former partner's power involved poison of some sort and the reason why there's this purple aura around K is because of his former partner's powers that has "seeped" (idk what other word to use) into him.
this is not it. they're both in uni and of course it takes more toll on sanho's body. tak won't even take responsibility if sanho fails. i'm so mad.
aside from concealment and being able to give buff to his heroes, does the mc have other skills? does the rank of the empire not correlate to how strong their lord is?
yasss run away chloe RUN AWAY though i know the "chasing/redemption" arc isn't as satisfying as i'd hope, i wish to see it play out in the manhwa and maybe it'll have a different feel to the novel
he got sucked into the world of the novel right? and he regressed to his 19-year old self? so how come his grandma is there when it's supposed to be set in a different world/universe?
i'd be lying if i said i didn't giggle at that one panel where yiseon was saying, "what if i told you that in order to get out of the dungeon alive," lol
