I read the spoilers and it says this ended up in a reverse harem. While I am so used to reading stories with 2nd male leads, ending up with 3 husbands is a bit....I already get stressed out when I read a promising 2nd ML but dating and ending up as a husband #2 is gonna be more stressful. lol. Well that's just me. The art is good though.
Anyway, I just want to comment this here for my besties who are not fan of reverse harem stories. ;)
Been reading this since 2022 and I feel like I've watched Hananoi-kun grow up. His character development is nice. It's not forced. I saw other people hating on him because of the anime but he is just really a flawed character. His trauma is way too deep and I appreciate how he is trying his best to always put Hotaru over his feelings first.
I like how the situation is realistic. I mean not that about the spirits, monster, or whatever part it is. But like the MC has realistic response to whatever crazy shnit is happening. He is scared, freaked out, have trust issues, and can't seem to take everything seriously because it hasn't sinked in yet.
I can't believe I felt a pang in my heart on this promo. The premise that his father forgets about her whenever he started to love her is just so freaking sad! ╥﹏╥
