I know she thinks that her value to her mother, what made her useful and what she hoped made her wanted, came from when she was able to provide and care for her mother. So now seeing that apparently now her mother is able to do all those things by herself, without her, I get why she feels the way she does.

I get the mom wanting to change the future and change for Lyrica, but also she literally completely changed overnight going from a deadbeat alcoholic mom to a suddenly super cunning and outwardly affectionate one. I just want her to be completely honest with Lyrica so that she’ll stop thinking she has to be “of use” to stay by her moms side, I just want her to realize she can finally just be a kid and not have to be responsible and parent her own mom (ಥ﹏ಥ)
