I think we all already know that karin and nadia are girlfriends but like I just wanted to say it
i fucking hate that piece of shit pervert sister
love to see women in male-dominated fields though
There's never going to be anything like this manhwa istg wanna did such an amazing job with this. The ending was bittersweet but also it was kind of the only ending that fit these two
I'm pretty sure it recently got serialized???
anyways it's about a dude who moves into a cheap apartment but every resident there is freaky. there was some altercation over kimchi too I think? with this one beefy tattoo'd guy
any recs with dark-skinned characters (and I mean dark not ashy) without any beast or barbarian connotations. Idc what genre I just need melanated characters
I'm talking BL specifically bc that's where I notice it more. I notice many people 'simping' over these characters that have raped, threatened, beaten/assaulted, or otherwise harmed the MC (or even other people). I don't quite understand how they can do that- to see past the literal evil that the character is because they're 'attractive'. I don't think the excuse that 'it's just fiction' applies because fiction /does/ affect reality to some degree- and even if it doesn't what's so thrilling about reading some poor dude get assaulted until he's stockholmed into 'enjoying' it? Even if the MC runs away and the ML has to grovel or whatever, it could never justify what the ML did to the MC.
Manhwas that influenced this question- JINX, Roses and Champagne, Codename Anastasia, waterside night.
surprisingly one of the most impactful comics I've read here. I really do cheer for Haru, and cry when she dies. It's such a deep dive into the psychology of a barely-adult woman thrust into a world where she has nothing- making do with what she has. It's funny, sad, and above all- very real. Haru feels realistic, she has realistic coping mechanisms and thoughts and feelings.
Does anyone have the link to this?
Also for those who have read it, are Calla and Lupis canon?
