Ehhh Anyone know the spoilers to the story and if it's worth reading?
I got to 22 fixed and feel kinda disappointed
I mean... why even go down there to confront the bad guy in the knights body? Why Go close enough where he could grab the squirrel or the girl?? Dumb stuff the author put in. Feels like it's probably gonna be slow and frustrating imo. But do tell me if it's wrong with spoilers. Also I don't really care about 'ohh she didn't know better " Im blaming the author not the character.
I read the novel Lol. I'm impatient.
It's lady Camila. She requested to divine where her missing cat was based off of a drawing and description. Miranda does, and the divination says no answer. Meaning it's dead. It was never dead. It didn't exist because Camilla never saw what the prince looked like in his car from. Lady Rose asked for divination on where the owner of a cufflink was (the prince) and Miranda had to lie a bit because it showed it was prince Heinrich.
They go to trial with Camilla as the culprit but because the curse was put into the thread and needle and handkerchief, Lady Camilla is denying it and placing blame on Lady Rose. Lady Rose is saying that Lady Camilla gifted her the embroidery set and pattern but doesn't have the letter as it was burned for good luck and fortune from a witch.
If anything changes with the culprit (I haven't finished the trial) I'll let y'all know
Ahhh it was good. So the court of witches use a divination to see if the culprit witch is in the nation (they had to expand it to cats and humans cause of Mirandas comments) And the elder witch was in the cat greenhouse disguised as a cat. She's lost most of her humanity at that point so she's a bit confused but Miranda turns her human and she says she has no accomplices. Lady Camilla then smirks and says she's got a legacy wand that can cure the curse by kissing the prince. It was fake! She tried to entrance (enchant? sorry) the prince! It doesn't work because he was protected by the uhm... embroidery underwear (。ノω\。) from Miranda. That's how the court of witches/Miranda catch Lady Camilla as the culprit using the residual mana. She's taken away to be tortured with mind breaking magic if she lies. Issue is that the prince is still cursed and the wand with the elder witch magic is leaking magic. So Miranda says she can still try and use the wand to fix the curse. She does, but she turns into a kitty. Her humanity fades much faster because of the curse. Her teacher and the Grand Court Witch come back after Mirandas been cursed. Her teacher was actually the previous Grand Court Witch. They fix Miranda by using Miranda's magic in the Prince's body. Thru the power of Love where both have to reciprocate their feelings. It works and she turns back to a human.
They meet with the king, and because they're keeping the fact the prince was cursed under wraps/a secret. Miranda and Heinrich can only have a secret engagement until Miranda gains more reputation/status as a witch. But they're super cute and she's still super shy with the affection the prince gives her.
The story doesn't continue past that so no side stories of marriage/kids.
Alright so I had to use so many sites to actually get all the chapters in order. That sucked ass. I'll bookmark it and maybe eventually get the chapters from elsewhere in order in here.
But I googled it and the author went on hiatus due to their health for about a year or so. Then published some chapters and had to go back on Hiatus due to their health (February 2024). And that's where we're at now. I would say maybe check back in a few months. Cause if the author does recover enough to publish it's then gotta be translated to eng ig. Not too sure.
Demon is the major antagonist of Vol.02. Basically, in Vol.02, it focuses on a few things
*Schneider POV/centric chapters after Rhonya's departure (near the end, not only did Lexi physically face slap him at the start of Vol.02 *in the recent manga updates, it was mentioned she was away to study abroad*, again near the end, the 3 Rhonya orbiters/the one who gave their testimonies against Rhonya were revealed to have been threatened by Misano using hallucinogenic drugs and they came begging Lexi for help since they're incredibly guilty that their actions of initially bullying Misano despite Rhonya's request/warnings not to led to this situation of Rhonya's expulsion. Naturally, Schneider is already ridden with guilt since the majority of the notable named side characters are on Rhonya's side (Hansel, Lexi, the king/his uncle, Rhonya's granpa, foreign prince of the Djinn Kingdom *this was a glimpse on just how much diplomatic power Rhonya had) and again, the only reason the expulsion happened is because of Rhonya's nature of being an introvert (since the plot was literally happening in front of her eyes. And in the recent manga updates, she did ask Sena's advice on the what if he was reincarnated) and the fact her family isn't well liked by the younger nobility given their ambitious nature
2nd focus is on Rhonya's past (where she literally saves the world/plant life by being the Spirit Forest's protector while Gratia is busy since she's also contracted with Orphedoto. She managed to single handledly hold off controlled beasts by the demon *whose powers are basically ensnaring/enhancing negative emotions* while healing an injured Laclain. She manages to seal the demon but since sealing magic isn't her forte, it was incomplete where the demon manages to escape and becomes obsessed with Rhonya since she's a literal pure soul which he just wants to basically corrupt. The demon also went so far as to infiltrate the academy back because of the barrier, he was heavily weakened but was able to escape. But because of Rhonya's expulsion, naturally he takes advantage of this until he gets sealed for good at the cost of Rhonya temporarily cursed.
Djinn King and Elven Queen are basically characters introduced in Vol.03. Queen is sibling of another one of Rhonya's suitors, elven prince/hero Orphias. One of the few males even Schneider was wary during their 7 year relationship (depending on the translation, or there might already be inconsistencies but Rhonya is either 16 or 18. Shize is 24, Sena 23. Ryuse and Chise if memory serves me right, 19 or 21 probably the latter). Queen is aware of both Rhonya's feats where she basically taunts Schneider over how much of a moron he is and she'll support her brother all the way and they'll treat Rhonya with respect in the elven kingdom (btw her saving the world was kept shut out of her request so that her family won't necessarily add unreasonable work where they'll belittle her in the end later). Djinn King is basically someone who can sense/smell emotions better but is unaware that Schneider outright annulled his engagement publicly/the worst way possible for nobles (so basically the 2 monarchs are good and bad cop towards Schneider)
As for Misano, Schneider breaks up with her (bit its revealed she genuinely just loved him *not an isekai, just someone desperate enough to want another man* and depending on the interpretation on Schneider's words might still love Misano too *basically, he tells Misano he doesn't want to see her and blame it all on him and he can't afford to see her or he'll blame her*. Eh, either way initially, nobody gave a d*mn to Schneider's new engagement with Misano since he ignored and treated Rhonya the worst way possible, not even his uncle despite already scolding him
Uhm ... Someone explain the new chapter to me. It looks like the wrong manga??? But it also has infinite mage at the end. But I don't remember the solo leveling looking dark magic and the futuristic/modern buildings
nvm I reread ch 65 I'm good
