There's something really beautiful about Ed's vulnerability. I think that's what makes him and this manhwa unique and such a good read. At the beginning, he's just this"plain" bodyguard. But he's slowly coming to terms with who he is and exploring his sexuality. I really love his inner monologues, especially when he describes his porn experiences. It doesn't sound crass at all but rather a really sensual experience. And I especially love seeing how all those around him are so attracted to him. He's oblivious and shy at first but is starting to notice the attention. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I'm a little confused by all the comments saying Shin looks unhappy with Wolfgang's advances. He might be uncomfortable but that doesn't mean he doesn't want it. He's probably concerned about Wolfgang needing to give birth to heirs and possibly needing a queen. Shin thinks about the practical things whereas Wolfgang thinks with his heart.
To me, Shin clearly loves and desires Wolfgang and is definitely receptive to Wolfgang's advances. It's like the beautiful chapter 24 in season 1. He clearly loved Wolfgang's touch. But even before that moment, he tried to put his gloves on and tried to be cautious. But he definitely gave into his desires and allowed Wolfgang to leave the infamous hickey on his neck.
I don't think Wolfgang will become corrupt like his father. At least not a pedophile. He's seen a lot of suffering and injustice in his early life and witnessed the murder of his mother. If there's anything he'll have to struggle with, it might be having to make tough decisions that all leaders have to do. A lot of times, rulers have to choose the lesser of two evils because there isn't a purely good option.
Honestly, it's hard to know at this point but I'm a bit more optimistic about Wolfgang than most others...
Heeey that's a nice way of looking at things. I'm 100% sure about the bit that Shin loves and desires Wolfgang too, but then again he is a man of duty. My theory has always been that Shin is more concerned with building the Kingdom while struggling to keep his relationship with Wolfgang in check, while Wolf doesn't care that much and just want to love and be loved. That's the paradox, you love someone and you want them but at the same time you know you should not want or cannot want them.
Since we're already on board with GoT since the bastard King in the North stuff, lemme quote GoT here: "Love is the death of duty" or "Duty is the death of love".
I'm also sure that the matter of heirs and queens would be bring up at some point. It's a crazy common, but still interesting trope. Every King and high nobleman needs an heir. BUT, considering how Wolfy and Shin are meant to change the Kingdom, they can either 1. Create a democracy, or 2. Naming Rudolph the red reindeer the heir (if this boy doesn't turn out to be too much trouble).
I'd love to be optimistic about Wolfgang too. No way in hell he would become a pedophile (I hope?) But I can sense that he would slowly turn into his father at some point. Either he succumb to a hedonistic lifestyle, he becomes more violent and unpredictable, etc. That curse explicitly said "One day I shall reappear in you". Man that shit sounds too evil for me to be optimistic. ;-;
