i just never feel they have the right type of chemistry half the time, or i really hate one character, or even both, plus its frustrating when a side couple takes over unnecissarily when the main couple is in the middle of a turning point

There should be since title does say Yaoi but it will probably happen way later in the story
Don't get your hopes up. This is manhua. And even if it happens, it will mostly be implied and not explicit like manhwas or mangas.
