There is only webtoon here, less and less manga. Mangago should rename itself as manwhago. Plus manwha are really low quality except a very very few compared to manga. Do japanese still do manga or not anymore? I am sad to think i am the only one here who craves for good quality content

they do, just search by create date and ull see plenty of new mangas. heres some recent manga ive been enjoying lately:

i think as the audience and age range change the works that are most read and preffered are changing overtime too. so while the number of mangas may not decrease, because mangas aren't as popular as they used to be they are kinda left in the shadows so it looks like there are way more manhwas than mangas. but it's true that many manwhas are really bad because most of them are written by artists who want to be popular quickly by joining in on what's trendy instead of actually creating a meaningful piece of work. but rest assured, you're not alone. i think many readers like us think likewise and are in the search of good content :)

I've been here in this site for almost 10 years and you're right, because webtoons are getting more and more mainstream and because korean webtoons is such an over saturated market the site is filled with them. Japanese manga have monthly serialisation while korean manhwas need to have weekly ones to avoid drowning and being forgotten in the immense ocean of manhwas. And that's why in the recent yaoi uploads its mostly manhwa because they have more frequent uploads and there so so many of them. And yes, I agree a lot of manhwas are very cheaply made because of the same reason too, they don't really have a huge team and company and a month for a deadline like mangas. I got into this site in 2016 because i wanted to read mangas and I remember in 2020 when webtoons started getting popular I really couldn't get into them because of some cheap plotlines and art but there are some really good ones out there!!

I get your point. I do think that there are good manwhas but i go on this website everyday and i feel that those good manwhas are rare tbh. When there was more manga, there was still a lot of good quality manga. I feel that for 10 mangas on this site at that time 7 were good, but now for 10 manwhas 1 is good

I’m looking for a manwha about a student making apps, he works with a man and at the beginning they don’t seem to like each other. I’m sorry I have no more details do you know the name of this manwha?

Just a completely wild guess http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/semantic_error/

So they made « the giant bride » into an anime and this is my personal opinion:
- of all the yaoi out there they choose this one, which is not such a great manga (In these words is a great original manga with a very interesting plot for those who know)
-They censor dicks, wtf, I wanna see a nice dick on sceen, I’m not prudish. Especially if i read yaoi!
-the yaoi production seem always the same. webtoons have a much lower quality than mangas in general
But
I’m laughing at the thought that they will need to show sex scene with a giant dick and a normal human taking up a « leg » in the back lol

I guess they chosse this one to be the next yaoi "hentai", of the season, I think they didn’t choose it for the plot but for the big dick lmao. But it seems like they are censoring dick even in the uncensored version so (/TДT)/ (hope in next episode we can see the dick). But ngl, it was still kind of hot haha

I scratched my head for a while when I heard about the T'sB being animated, too. Like you said, it's not "bad", but that's only because we're using yaoi standards and the bar is pretty low, lol we're only into it because of the novelty of reading about a guy being dicked by a giant but it's all cute n stuff. It's just a crappy bl isekai and the world building is.. lacking.
Man, In These Words would make a kickass thriller but I don't think the world is ready. I swear if I see one more shit adaptation with a script apparently written during a 30 minute coffee break I'm going to cry

OMG im soooo glad I’m not alone to think that! TT
Yeah I was wondering today if the manga production is so low that anything a little bit different seems wonderful.
What upsets me is that they are original genre in yaoi too. A yaoi thriller would definitely be worth the penny. I guess they don’t like to risk anything so they go for « original but not too much though »

BL thrillers have been around for so long and got a big boom in the mid 2010s but just before that point they stopped getting animated (but even when they did, they didn’t look the greatest). I really want darker/thriller BL anime to come back and I hope the serious drama of Saezuru can inch us toward that happening

Heh, I would gladly give you any link bit it is impossible to find :(
This manga is an american product and the authors reaaaally care about it not being on any free website.
They have 3 volumes edited so far, you can buy each chapter for 12 usd (which is toooo much to me) so better buy a entire volume.

I don't think you'll be able to find it online, the authors are notoriously litigious. I bought the first printed volume a few years ago, it was very goddamn expensive and I think volume 4 is the latest? You can buy individual digital chapters on their website but honestly I'll wait until a) it's finished b) it's my birthday or something because its just SO expensive!!! Honestly, it's worth every penny :( If money isn't a problem for you, you won't ever regret buying it.

right?!? If the plan was to animate just *anything yaoi* I wish the studio would've picked Caste Heaven. The world is in fucking fire already and I'd love to see people gasp in horror and whine on youtube about the dEgEnErAcY
lol no but seriously, the potential for high quality queer cinema is being criminally wasted. It's going to be our little secret for a while!

Ok dear manga readers
I would like to publish my own manga. However it takes a lot of time to finish one page. So I need your wise advice.
Do you think that a monthly publication of 10 pages is ok?
It seems to me that it is not a lot of pages but I cannot be more quick.
How much does it cost one chapter in other websites? How many pages do they have?
Thank you for reading me

I would like to score social points by appearing very virtuous.
I propose to give a score:
- porn is bad : 300 social points
- rape is bad: 400 social points
- consent is everything : 500 social points
- people who like rape fantasies are rape enablers: 600 social points
If you have any other ideas to make me score more social points feel free to give me any idea!
I will also create the « league of virtue », and shame other people in group by going to every porn site, earning my social points. It gives me a sense of power and virtuousness.
Please don’t steal my crown, today i bullied a lot of people by shaming them around these theme. It was fun!
Thank you for your attention.
